You say your flashflood doesn't have produce, and ours don't have meat. Right now here in Ohio we can get big boxes of produce ranging from apples to bananas, to peppers to garlic. For $5 they also have right now alot of ppant based foods. From sausage links to tofurky.
Tiffany I thought of you this weekend. One of my husbandβs customers gave home two 3lb bags of apples. I made applesauce and canned it. It felt so good to preserve the fruit that would have otherwise gone bad. You inspire me. Thank you!

The best part of always having a properly stocked pantry is that when you really aren't feeling what is on the menu you can make something else. I had naan bread pizza on the menu last night. Instead I had a hodgepodge of things. My son had bow tie Mac and cheese, I had open faced beef sandwiches with some beef tips I had canned, and my hubby had Hawaiian chicken that I had canned. I could have thrown together something made from scratch but I want feeling actually cooking last night so opening a couple of jars and heating them up was perfect for last night.
Edited to add… Tonight I am making loaded chicken and potatoes, one hour rolls with homemade apple butter. Yummy

I make a similar chicken recipe. Same as yours but no siracha instead 1 tablespoon tomato paste, 1/4 cup water, and 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes.

Happy Mothers Day. We are going to Church then my kids and grandkids will come by and we will have a late lunch. I stop using sourdough starter we decided we did not the the taste of it. So we are back to yeast or box . Happy . Everything looked Delicious.
