Interesting item, but won't be good for me. I drown my chips in vinegar. They have to be swimming or it's not worth having them with vinegar.😂 The amount you put on from the regular bottle wasn't enough for one chip for me. Maybe I'm just a weird American, though.

I make fresh chips in the air fryer, guilt free, add salt and vinegar and they are very tasty. I also make sweet potato chips, same way, soak spuds, dry them off , put in a bag with a tablespoon of oil, mix it up, enough for three people….. as for salt and vinegar mix, going to get some

I love chips wi salt and Apple cidar vinager. I recently discovered it when I went to my cupboard to get the malt vinager to put on my chips but I'd ran oot of it. There was a bottle of apple cidar vinager sitting there getting unused that my hubby bought earlier this year as he thought he'd try it but he never got around to it. It's just been sitting there in the cupboard . Anyway, I opened it and put some of that on my chips and it was delightful. It tasted like….well ..vinegar lol .It was nice on the chips. Greetings fae bonny Scotland .

not sure how I missed this video haha love this gimmick, only problem I love vinegar I have my chips swimming in it so it might end up too salty, but I have to give this a try .

Looks like a good idea. Probably stick to the traditional approach though so I can get the proportion on salt and vinegar I prefer. BTW Gareth, can you use your air fryer for chips? I've heard of air fryers, but never used or owned one.

Pepper spray has been on the market for years now, so why not a salt and vinegar spray. 🙂

After watching this video I'm tempted to invest in a deep fat fryer myself, those fresh chips look really scrummy.

Hi again Gareth, from Thailand. People here think frozen French Fries, including string fries are CHIPS. No where near, proper chips are chipped, left to soak, drained and then fried. I remember Maggie Thatcher explaining the process. I lived on a farm and we stored potatoes, 200 tons, in a CLAMP, like a straw tent, to stop them going green and I favoured WILJA potatoes for chips. There is also a good variety called, believe it or not, Golden Wonder, which is also good. Potatoes here are not named, but sweet potatoes fried in batter are delicious. Also NEVER seen MALT vinegar, so pickles are done in a salt solution.

Hi Gareth. Thanks for showing us this product, I never knew such a thing existed, but saying that, it might be new on the market. But from the amount you were having to spray on your chips to get the same salt and vinegar taste could make your chips quite soggy I imagine. So based on your demo and brilliant review I don't think its for me. Its possible this invention could end up being a flop what with having to use so much of it to match normal salt and vinegar. Cheers for this. 👍.
