I had a dog that kept getting anal gland infections. She eventually had to have the glands surgically removed. She had an undiagnosed food allergy that probably caused the infections. All the antibiotics and steroids caused her to get Cushing's Disease. The drug for Cushing's ended up causing Addison's. Morale of the story: Could your dog have a food allergy? If this keeps happening would it be an option to surgically remove the glands so that your dog doesn't develop Cushing's as well? I would hate for anyone to unnecessarily go thru what we did.

Bought the pet mat with the puppy paw on it and it is great because it soaks up any spills or drops and is washable.
