I made your cheddar with “lupines” what a treat. I loved it. I don’t buy any of the cheeses in the market, nothing like making your own, specially yours that are so simple and delicious. I’m making this one today to mix it in a spinach artichoke dip and of course eating it every way I can.
    Thank you Jana.

Jana, hello – just now found your recipe. I have a very bad heart so can't have any cheese or other dairy due to the high cholesterol, and a kidney condition so can't have any nuts or soy product. I was so sad believing I had to give up cheese! Now I don't have to, this is perfect! Thank you so much, I can't wait to try it!!! Perhaps I'll try adding some very thinly sliced olives into the cheese before it sets up for color. 😀

My mom literally hates vegan cheese! She secretly tried this one after I made it for Christmas, but she had to come clean: she said it is one of the tastiest vegan things she ever tried. According to her, it tastes exactly like cheese. Thank you Jana!!

I made this cheese adding the nutritional yeast made from your recipe. It does taste like cheese. But has a strong olive flavor. Any suggestions chef jana?
Thank you for both the recipes 🤗

I love that you have such innovative ways around soy, nuts and gluten. I don't have a problem with these but I cook for others that do and I really don't want to overload my diet with these foods even if I'm not sensitive to them. Thank you so much.
On a side note, you remind me of the Gabor sisters. I adored them. It's really sweet seeing your face and accent. You are such a treasure. 🥰

Grateful to have found this recipe, I'm allergic to dairy, soy, gluten or nuts which is used in many of these vegan substitute recipes (except for dairy ofc), so thank you so much!

I love your videos except when you talk over the 🎵 music. The music is nice if you're not talking. But when you're talking I don't care for the background noise. You're so talented, you don't need the hype when you're talking.

So tasty! Thank you so much!!! A great alternative, and nut-free is the cherry on top. Nuts are very expensive in Santa Catarina 🙁 Has any vegan company found you yet? Not Co., Fazenda Futuro etc.

I'm sure your creativity is needed!

What a combination of ingredients and such a great idea to use potatoes too! I always use olives and their brine to add to sauces and dishes, so I can imagine that the taste of this cheese will be fantastic, I will have to give it a go tomorrow as I have some cooked potatoes ready – thank you very much! 👍

Hi Jana, I don’t have much experience making vegan cheese, I have made like at least 2 or 3, recipes from internet and I must say that this is by far the best tasting vegan cheese I have tasted so far. I’m very pleased 😀 and exited to try your other recipes. I was very happy to see that there were no fancy ingredients, thank you for that !! 👍🏼
