I’m new to Matcha. I have a bag I bought from Sprouts a while back so I made your recipe. It’s much darker green than yours and it’s a very strong grassy flavor. I don’t like it. I was reading comments on the one you used from Amazon and although it says ceremonial matcha they say further below I think on the product it’s only culinary grade not ceremonial grade. I don’t know what this means exactly but hoping it’s not as grassy and bitter as the one I have from Sprouts. It doesn’t get rave reviews so not sure if I should even try it?

I love matcha! I always make it at home but I would love to try this. Can anyone tell which coconut cream to buy.
I've used coconut milk but unsure of coconut cream. I love creamy drinks!

Thank you for sharing this info and for the great recipe. I couldn’t believe how much sugar was in the Starbucks matcha lattes when I looked it up. I asked the barista at my local starbucks if they add sweetener as they are making the drink and she said no. So good to know it’s because they add the sugar into the matcha powder.

What did you add to get it closer to the rim? When you poured in the coconut milk/cream it is below the ice line, and then it cuts to it being at the second line from the rim. Should I just add more water?
