I have underactive Thyroid and as I have become older it has become difficult as I have to take pain relief because I get back pains, but hopefully inshallah Monday is going to be the first fast I hope and pray that all goes well,

Alhamdurillah i started fasted when i was 10, I fasted during pregnancy, breastfeeding, periods (obviously isn't counted but for routine sake i keep fast and since i was 14) and after having my son 3yrs ago im diabetic now Alhamdurillah whatever Allah gives, its my test. Im still fasting. Its hard but manageable coz as a Muslim I don't know when death will come nor if I will live till another Ramadan.

I was actually feeling really down because for the last 5 years I've not been able to fast due to ulcerative colitis which is also a type of digestive related autoimmune disease and I could relate so much to you. I get eye rolls too and have to miss out a lot. You sharing that was really uplifting. Allah bless you.
