my husband and I are contemplating doing carnivore or ketovore into carnivore.

It is scary uncharted waters for the both of us. The last time I tried a 2 week stint, I ended up in the hospital with an extreme Gout attack. Seems as if I have been incurring really high uric acid levels with no real insight as to why.

But, I want to give it another try.

Dear, grill, smoke geesh! Y'all sound like gourmet cooks!
How do you know what to do to what & how do you afford all those extra appliances?
How 'bout some simple recipes for us who only have a pan?

That was super helpful. I do not know much about beef, how it's cut, what part it comes from etc. I love a chuck roast. Now I know how to pick the better ones and have a piece of chuck eye steak. My meat in the PNW is way more expensive. Ugh! Always looking for sales. Actually purchased 1/4 of a steer. Will get next week. Excited. Keep the meat tips coming.

Thanks so much for this video!🙏🏽 They don't sell chuck-eye steaks in my area, but it's easy to find chuck roasts. I tried separating the chuck-eye section, from a roast, and cutting it in half to make two chuck-eye steaks. It worked out fabulously! It was a very tender steak, and it was nowhere near as tough as the chuck roast.

I need to know what you think of the Stainless airfryer. We chose to get rid of our non-stick and living without has been trickier than we imagined. Best appliance we've ever had, but we weren't willing to deal with PFAs.

Thanks so much for video on cuts of chuck. Really glad to find out that you could buy a chuck roast to get the chuck eye steak. I have had a hard time finding the chuck eye steak which I hadn't ever heard about until a couple of months ago. I will start buying chuck roast from now on when on sale to get the chuck eye steak and boneless chuck ribs.

For the Chuck Roast, we like to smoke it. Oh man. My husband will sear it on the smoker and then pan it up with some bone broth and smoke it low and slow. So amazing.

This was so helpful! I can never find chuckeye but I buy chuck roasts mostly. And tri tip roasts. They are both great for either smoking, cooking in the instant pot, grilling, or air fryer. I like to cut them into 3 sections and dry age with salt for a day or two then air fry. I'm definitely going to start pulling out the chuckeye! Do you ever utilize tri tip roasts? I would love to learn more about selecting meat.
