Oh! I use a 7" pot on pot" stacking pot with lid to keep the water/moisture out, or use foil to cover… a must do.
Need to cover it. I've never had a box cake do that.

You need to use closed pans look up accessories for electric pressure cookers.
They have stackable pans for that.
Anyone else tried this on the cake setting? I'm trying tonight with a carrot cake (one layer) adjusting to more since it is a denser cake. I hope it goes well. My recipe has instructions for steam mode not cake mode, so I have no idea how long it should be set for.

What happened? I’ve made beautiful cakes are you sure the vent was closed and I put mines on high pressure and I set time for 60 min… and make Sure you use natural release as the cake is still cooking.
