    ¡Hola! I fell in love with mole rojo at a local burrito restaurant. I remember the waitress asking me "It's not for everyone, are you sure?" when I ordered it for the first time. Psssh! Many years ago they took it off their menu, and my previous attempts making it at home weren't great. Today I followed your recipe and I am now overjoyed. So so good. I can't wait for leftovers tomorrow and to make it again for friends and family. Great work with the video!!

    p.s. You use cinnamon @ 10:45, but it's missing from the ingredients list in the description.
    p.p.s. In our house instead of the doña maria glasses was welch's jam jars. Our cabinets were full of those things! I'd take the mole over pb&j any day.

    Excellent Mole recipe, and believe me I‘ve tried a lot of Mole recipes. I love Mole too. I use to add Mole Poblano, which was a powdered chili to make Mole by La Victoria, but they stop making it. I now use the Doña Maria like you. My favorite Mexican dish is Chicken and Mole, the second favorite is Mole Tamales. Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe.

    This is a lush mole. It’s so stinking good I’m making it for the second time this week on request from my kids. I was concerned the 8 Arbol would be too spicy for my 10 year old but ended up adding 12 total (probably bc my chili’s weren’t as spicy as Norma’s). I went to a super Mercado and purchased a deeper red arbol chili for this batch). I’m so excited to try your other recipes. You are truly a gifted cook!
    p.s. love the music and family piping in throughout tutorial.
