Is it me or are the outlets upside down..?
Do you think you’ll miss having drawers in the fridge? Or are you going to get containers to take the place if drawers?
With the doors open and a 15 ft table you won't gave much room when you're waking in from the outside

That kitchen is looking like a dream and is gorgeous! I have loved watching the progress 🙂 Honestly so inspirational that you are doing it debt free. You deserve it! A suggestion I have after seeing so many people remodeling their kitchens- wait 6 months before doing tiles over your countertops, the weight can cause settling and can cause the gap between the bottom of tile and the counters to be significant. I’m sure around the stove would be just fine since it’s free standing. Another thing I’ve seen done with attic access doors, they put an eye hook where the cord comes down, and have a wood dowel with a hook to bring it down as needed, then you don’t have the unsightly rope hanging down (potentially tempting kids to explore lol). No matter what that kitchen is STUNNING! I really hope your family is proud <3

Everything is going to be wonderful and beautiful, I am so excited for you and your family, what a wonderful journey. I understand your cabinet issue. I am 5'3" My only daughter, 42 years 5'2" Husband 6'5". An idea for you that Could really help you is a step stool with a safety handle on it. I love mine and sometime we all get a little wobbly.
Did you consider doing electrical sockets that pop up out of the island top?

I was so happy to see an update. I just love how you explain things and show us all of the wonderful things coming together. Travis is an amazing man. He has done a beautiful job planning and figuring and putting his talents to work. You have all pulled together to make your dreams come true. I love your animals and your garden and your freeze dryer. I love the remodels and book shelf building. I love sharp shopper and Dollar tree hauls. Thanks for all you share with us. Where did you find barstools that affordable? We're in your same journey with putting our kitchen in a different larger room but you're much further ahead. I love seeing this!

Looks amazing! The island is fabulous. That refrigerator is HUGE!
Instead of a couch, just an idea 💡 what about having a custom built window bench with full cushions and pillows and storage boxes underneath the cushions than you could have a smaller table with country style bench on other side for lil ones that can slide under and out of the away ..

Thank you for giving us updates. I think it’s cool that some day not only you & Travis can go back & watch all your homes, make overs, moves, updates, additions, trips & even occasionally seeing your kiddos. You will have forever documented history of your lives & your families. 50 years from now your kiddos can pull up videos & be comforted seeing & hearing their Momma. This channel was created for my daughter when she was 11. She made Littlest Pet Shop videos. Before puberty, boy, junior high, high school & life. She just turned 20 this month. Melts my heart going back & watching her being creative & making her videos about music, bullies at school etc. Private now & only I can see them. These are so precious to me l. Excited for you friend & your new kitchen. I think you should call it Jamerrill’s castle. I mean it’s not “just a kitchen”. Not with you, your family & all the craziness of your lives. ♥️

My brother in law and husband did the outlets in our house the same way.
Jammerrill you should maybe think about putting your trash cans closer to your actual working area. I think it would be more convenient for you. Just a suggestion.
