This looks so good, we don’t fry our chicken we just throw it in the pot. It’s delicious, but I definitely want to try this out! I’m sure it gives it a different flavor. πŸ˜‹

Made this and as a 100% mexicana I can say it’s super delicious. My family loved it!! I used a whole chicken instead of just drumsticks and for the spice did finely chopped Chile Serrano even tho we had the salsa asada. Personally I like the chopped serrano better. Delicious πŸ˜‹ 🍲

I made this on Sunday for my daughter's 14th birthday and it was a hit! I've tried many times to make chicken and rice but it never came out to my satisfaction. This time was different. Thanks so much for sharing your recipes!

I’m new to cooking so I have a few dumb questions. 1. Am I cooking the rice before adding it to the recipe or is the rice uncooked and just cooks with the broth? 2. Can I use chicken breasts boneless or does it need to be drumsticks?

How would I go about making this for one person? What would the portions be of the ingredients? I’d really love to know because I don’t want to spend extra $ on food I don’t need
