Hey Sandy, great video. I was wondering what kind of chilies you used. I see that blended chillies are a common ingredient in Mexican stews. I have cooked with canned Chipotles, and it made the stew very very spicy. How do you make sure things don't get too hot?

    Thanks

Gracias Sandy, me encanta que lo has esplicado de una manera super facil 🙂  Una pregunta, que recomiendas si no me gusta muy picante? Solo usar menos chiles?

I love all kinds of birria, the flavor is really similar, my favorite is Lamb, but goat is great too, they do taste different from pork and beef! Thank you so much for watching! I really appreciate your time!

Thank you Ken! we always cook a lot of food for the holidays, there is always people stopping by all the time! even in a regular day, there is always enough food to feed at least a dozen, everyone stops by and grabs whatever they want…I guess that's how we are in Mexico… my mom doesn't like cooking for 4, she really enjoys making big meals all the time! 😀 Thanks again for stopping by! I appreciate your time and support!

Thank you Anne! I love this recipe, it is delicious and it doesn't get any easier that placing all the ingredients in the pot! making the sauce is fairly simple too! That day we cooked Tamales, Birria and Frijoles Charros (ranch style bean stew), we started cooking around noon and we were done by 3:30pm, the tamales took most of the time, The birria and the beans were done in no time! Anyway, I'm just rambling, Now i want to go back to Mexico! :Thanks for stopping by and for all your support!

Oh Sandy you've outdone yourself with this one. Impressive. It looks amazing. I gotta get the special pot or steamer rack before I can make this one. You're right it does look like you've been in the kitchen all day. It must have been quite a New Year celebration.
