We had baked ham,mashed potatoes and gravy,green bean casserole,yellow squash casserole,turnips,dinner rolls
Veggie tray
Deviled eggs
Shrimp cocktail
Eggnog
Pear cake
Peanut butter fudge
Mincemeat tarts
Opened presents around noon
We made lasagna/garlic bread on Christmas Eve
Granddaughter’s fiancé made a spaghetti pasta dish Christmas Eve night
Spaghetti cooked- drained
Sauce
Tomato paste
2 shallots minced
1/2-3/4 of mushrooms minced
Heavy whipping cream
Garlic
Blister pkg grape tomatoes
Wilt 2 handfuls spinach
Sauté garlic,shallots,mushrooms in olive oil
Add tomato paste
Add small carton of whipping cream
Salt/pepper to taste
Blister tomatoes in separate skillet
Wilt spinach in separate skillet
Combine spinach and tomatoes in sauce- add spaghetti noodles
Delicious!!

It’s 40 degrees and foggy here in Toronto Canada. Relaxing day as we celebrated with my grown children yesterday. Pizza n movie later.
So glad to hear your Mom is doing better. I lost my Mom on December 10th, 1988, to breast cancer. Spending the day with my 4 furbabies Gretta, Tennie Wennie, Willow, and Ginger. My Tiny house will be delivered on Thursday, December 28th. I ca😅n't wait been living in RV last 2 years. Dinner of Ham and scalloped potatoes from our food bank cooking. Ham in crokpot and potatoes in toaster oven.
