This is one of best menudo recipes I have ever tried! Thank you! I had to add a few chile de arbol because I love the heat. Will yellow homily change the flavor or is it the same, just different look?

Thank you for your recipe. I haven't had menudo since my Mom stopped making it. She learned from her Mother and my grandfather used to make it from scratch and sell it at his store.
He was meticulous at cleaning it. I remember helping him.
We ate menudo on Sundays for breakfast but with fresh, homemade flour tortillas. Those were the days!
My son, who claims to be Italian and not Mexican, (he is 50/50) has been asking for menudo for sometime. I never learned to make it…well generally I do but have never tried. Watching your step by step video, I feel confident to try making it on my own.

I'm just learning how to make Mexican dishes. I never knew how the dried chilies were used. I really like your blend of spices, you seem to have a feel for it. I grew up in California with lots of Mexican restaurants so I didnt learn many recipes. .
