    I got my first Instant Pot yesterday and stumbled upon this recipe while looking for something simple and easy to try and test it out. WOW! This was delicious!!! I did change the recipe to spices that I already have and used gold potatoes cut in halves, but otherwise followed the method as you have it. Thank you!!!

Cooking a Pork Roast for the first time in it today. Then gonna shred it up and make BBQ Pork sandwiches for dinner tonight. Thank you for sharing. God Bless Y'all.

    Have you folks ever tried the Mississippi Beef Pot Roast / Crock Pot recipe? The Gentleman that gave me this recipe claims its one of the best? I had never heard of this until recently and plan to try it for New Years. Served over mashed potatoes, pulled pork style or sliced and made into sandwiches.

    Here goes; 2-3 pound Beef Roast – Something that will fit in your Crock Pot or Stove Top cooking container. Place the meat in the Crock Pot or if cooking on the stove, a standard heavy cast Pot Roast Pot. The meat can be Chuck Roast or Top or Bottom Round Roast as long as its thick and will fit in the Cooking Container.

    Add to the roast in the pot;

    One Pkg of Ranch Dressing Mix – Dried,

    One Pkg of Brown Gravy Mix – Dried

    One 12-16 ounce jar of Pepperoncini Pepper Rounds with the juice. you can use the whole Pepperoncini Peppers that come pickled in the jar if you dont mind the seeds Also, if you like it hot, there is a type of Pickled Gardinia that you can also add. Place the meat and the spices and the peppers/juice all in the Crock Pot and Cook on low for 10-12hrs. If using the stove top, dont allow the meat to dry out. Add enough water throughout the day to keep it cooking on the lowest heat and not dry out.
    Supposed to come out incredibly tender and flavored just right? Like I said, Ive never tried it? Im going to try it this weekend. This recipe is fancied by the tailgater crowd.

    If you have tried this, please post up what you thought of it and if you cooked it, how it worked out for you.
