We all definitely have different taste buds…thats part of our individual uniqueness. 😊
I don't like the turnips either, but a lot of ppl do. The baffles look tasty as the bun for the burger. I've only bought rutabaga once. Never tried it before I seen you eating it. Its good.👍

Your hair looks sooo good!😊👍It stays healthier, too, when you keep it trimmed. I'm over-do.

I also, have some of the corn extract. I bought it last yr and have never tried it yet lol I did buy some butternut squash last wk though. You were making me crave it.😂 I love it with the cinnamon, brown sugar substitute and pecans. Yummy (I've ate it before)

You and the pupper-doos have a wonderful wk..God bless 😊🙏

Interesting, I just looked up my last blood work and i just have sodium and potassium, no magnesium test. Maybe it is something you need to ask for. Makes me think insurance doesnt cover it. But then again I am in Canada so different rules. I take 200mg before bed, just because. No idea if i need it.

Since I don't like it, it doesn't matter, but I didn't know the rutabaga was supposed to be a replacement for potato, lol. Curiosity always gets me so I had to look it up. Low levels of magnesium lead to fatigue, anxiety, and depression. So it certainly does affect mood if you don't have enough. Your hair looks great! A bob is one of the cutest styles, IMHO.

I like your haircut! I always like to have my Vitamin D level checked — vitamin D helps with anxiety and in the winter months without much sun I find I need extra D to keep me feeling better! Blessings!

I’ve heard that blood levels of mag is not a reliable way to test if you’re low, because you body is great at keeping it in the blood regardless of being low or not. If that makes sense. So it will show normal regardless of it actually being too low in the cells. I want to say that Dr Berry has spoken about this too, but I can’t say for absolute sure.

If someone's macros allow it, I've learned to always put a little bit of cheese & tiny bit of butter into my waffle mixes (no matter the ingredients) You don't really taste it, yet it give it something + imho, truly helps them brown/crisp way better. I've tried chaffles, chicken salad type (almost like a waffled chicken nugget, lol) egg/breakfast type sausage, tuna, etc. Sometimes I'll add a handful of crushed up pork rinds or bacon pcs crushed up… most times I'm just too lazy & don't bother. lol Will have to give the rutabaga a try. That said, love the hair… esp when you scrunch or leave it curly. 🙂

Terri, do you know what a mash tater cake is? I was reading the commenter from the UK about making the swede mash in the microwave, I got to thinking all the different variations of tater cakes you could make using the mashed rutabaga and the waffle maker. 🤔

    Nice haircut!

Sounds like you've got your list ready for You Doctor. 🙂

I am curious why you would have
    Metapause labs done?
I'm Curious because I've never had them done. I've had p c o s since I was fourteen. I will be 60 this year. Even when I had my daughter my estrogen was pretty much zero..The infertility specialist called her a miracle because The female chemistry in my body has always been entirely screwed up. Even prior to any obesity issues or Insulin resistance. That's why i'm not convinced that insulin resistance is what causes pcos. I think it can make it much worse but I don't believe it's the cause. Anyway, I'm nearly 60 years old. I've never had hot flashes, I had a menstrual cycle that lasted about ten minutes a month for a couple years twenty years ago… I must say that not having a menstrual cycle was a blessing I didn't mind at all And I never had a doctor tell me it was something I needed to make happen.
I'm just curious. What would the benefit be to knowing what ones hormones were doing now ?

Well, I would go to different hairdressers. I would never tell them i am a hairdresser because it would make them nervous so they would cut my hair but now I go to my daughter and she does my hair, but my hair has changed over the years it’s gone from curly to straight, which I don’t understand usually goes the other way, your hair looks really cute I like it💕NonnaGrace

Wow honey you look beautiful 😍 love the new hair cut. I must say I’m the same. I did think for a while that you would look amazing to have it cut off and more level. I didn’t like to say. That’s my blue colour side again 😳🥰🤗 you always looks lovely 🥰 and your hair is looking amazing 🤩 Great idea to straighten it before you go too. Awww you’re making me want to grow my hair out to a Bob, I’ve had bobs on and off for years. I get board growing it out. OCD takes over. I’m loving my pixie at the moment so will stick with that for a while and see. I have some medical stuff coming up this year and more scans on my pancreas. It’s my regular check up as I have an IPMN on the tail. I know what that means. 😢😢😢😳 It was 7mm 4 years ago and I was supposed to have scans every 2 years. I got missed. Anyway, if there’s any reason to give up the sugar and get healthy it’s that little thing. Truth be told I’ve been sucking my thumb and eating sugar. Now that’s NOT like me at all. So carnivore and tomorrow and full on honey. So sorry as I didn’t mean to turn it onto me. You look amazing flower 🌸 You always do like I said, but new hair makes you look very glamorous my darling. Big hugs 🤗 xxxxx ❤🥰❤

As you live your rudabegga Terri (we call it swede in the U.K.). A lovely way to make a mash substitute without the effort of peeling and chopping the swede is to use the singing swede method. Simply put the whole swede skin and all in the microwave for 15 minutes turning half way through. Then simply scoop out the nice soft and perfectly cooked swede the swede is never watery and it saves my arthritic wrists from chopping it up raw! Congratulations on your 180lb weight loss Terri that is terrific! I lost 110lb and have kept it off for 7 years now There is a video about making the singing swede on you tube x

It looks like that food chopper is working out fantastically on rutabaga. You got a great hair cut!!! I would have to hairclip the part hanging in the eyes though. My hands would be touching that part all day, and my hands are always into something. Maybe a bit of Lupin or almond flour would make the egg white and cornbread flavoring feel more like cornbread.

Magnesium deficiency will make you feel tired. You were taking a large dose as 340 mg is normal. You had to increase it when on low carb, keto, or carnivore. Now that you are incorporating more carbs, you may need to decrease your dose as you will get some mg from them. I take 400 mg daily to keep my levels up to normal.
