    When you can your tomato sauce, do use a tested and safe recipe from a canning book. Safety first!! I love these types of blogs. So inspirational to get things done!! Our vegetarian recipe coming up this week is seasoned quinoa and black bean tacos with crunchy purple cabbage, cilantro, and onion. It’s so good!

    Home made pasta sauce is the best, if you have time to do it. Tastes a million times better. I know I am half Italian. It’s good that you prep your meals. Cooking from scratch in large quantities everyday must be extremely hard work. And boring. So if you can get a few out of the way, it makes sense..

    Tomatoes are acidic so you would not add lemon juice. To the tomato sauce you can add veggies even chopped fine or puree if children don't like. Instead of sugar to cut acid my gran added carrots. Baby food back then now just puree
