You're so relatable….I had that same veg chopper thingy that makes the big slap sound when you push the lid down and I think I tossed it out a few years back when I moved because it truly is a pain to clean and noise of it bugged me, but mostly it was hard for me to use because I'm really short and getting the leverage to push the lid down was harder for me than just using a knife. It does make the nicest fine dice for your red onions, though. The salad chopper…I don't have one of those, but I do have an Alaskan ulu that I use in the same fashion. Your egg bites came out so good!
I know this sounds like I must live under a rock lol. I have never had the egg bites. Do I microwave them before eating or eat cold? Also how long in the microwave?
