    Thank you for the tip on putting garlic in my water. Until watching your video I hated the potato masher I bought to replace my old zigzag one. Once watching you use it I realized I had used it incorrectly. It's time to try it again.

    dude is doing to much throw those potatoes in the pot they are done when you stick a fork in them and they easily brake a part. drain the water and mash them with a fork or whatever add whatever you like to them the potatoes are hot so the butter should melt when it hits the potatoes forget microwaving milk and such just add very little milk until it is your desired texture if you want them hella creamy add sour cream to the mix and stir. all this other mess he doing your other food will be cold. Some people make a hard job out of nothing!
