I’m from Hawaii and this is kind of how I make mines. We add boiled eggs, imitation crab, and potatoes.
Check out that 1870s Homestead she has a really good recipe for homemade spaghetti sauce she made a video about it a while back, you might try hers and see if you like it. Also Living Traditions Homestead has a really good catch up recipe that I tried that I really like it tastes almost close to Heinz ketchup it's that good.

prepare a bunch of fresh ginger and then freeze it in ice cube trays. That way you only have to do it once and you get to have the taste of fresh ginger each time

Josh is VERY lucky to have a young wife like you that can cook a mean meal! There are soo many people your age that eat out a lot and or have just like ramen or microwave meals. My daughter when she decides to cook she does a great job too. I know I need to get cracking on some freezer meals my self. It seems like its just soo easy to pull out and get done! Thanks for some great ideas!
BTW did you know you don't need to use oven ready lasagna,you can use the regular uncooked? I just add about 1/2 cup water to my sauce for extra moisture..

I’m getting started on my dry storage like flour sugar etc. it’s unbelievable the price of food grade buckets with the screw on lids. I’ve heard you say that winco has a good deal on the lids. Is this still the best place to buy? And where do you recommend buying the buckets?
