Becky, have you considered putting up some bat houses on your property? Oregon has 15 species of bat that are native, and bats are very important to pollination as well as controlling nuisance insects such as mosquitos. All over the country, their habitats are shrinking and keeping bat houses around your property can also discourage bats from nesting in your home (which, even though bats are cool, you probably wouldn't prefer…).
I don’t know if you are using wood for you fence or some kind of wire fencing? May I suggest a heavy duty tall wire to allow air circulation, sun, and visual clearance to your lower fields
If you have a Wild Birds shop near you I would go there. The one I've been to seems very knowledgeable about the local area. Go in with a budget tho. Really. I really appreciate your videos where you talk about how to convert recipes to different forms or amounts. I'm not a confident cook or baker but I'm starting to be be curious about such things. ie how do I take a 9" cheesecake recipe and change it for my 7" pan. (got a guide on that the other day.) What needs to change so I can make the baked oatmeal in muffin cup? if I use a 7×11" pan for brownies instead of a 9×9 what do I do? I have the confidence now to google those sorts of questions or just try a cautious guess
you're very generous to talk about the soil test kit for like 3-4 videos in a row without a sponsorship. They owe you a lot of money. haha! That could've helped get that greenhouse sooner. Maybe next time! Edited to add: (same w/ vermont compost! You've named dropped them so many times in 4+ videos for free.) Love that you're happy with these products, but I want to see you profit from all the MAJOR marketing you're doing for these companies. They're lucky someone with such a big platform is talking about their products in SO many videos.
I have purchased the gallon size silicone bags you suggested and I just love them slowly eliminating disposable storage bags great idea Becky thanks, hope baby Acre is doing awesome he must be getting so big and making you lives so filled with all the baby joy. ♥️♥️♥️😎
iFYOU LIVE IN AN AREA WHERE YOU MIGHT HAVE BEARS. IT'S NOT A GOOD IDEA TO HAVE BIRD HOUSES. i LIVE IN nj AND ALL THE BIRD HOUSES AND POLES HAVE BEEN RIPPED OUT OF THE GROUND. tHE DEER FENCEIS ARE A GREAT IDEA. aLSO, i KNOW YOU LOVE PLANTS AND FLOWERS AND SO DO DEER.. i LOVE VARIEGATED HOTAS AND SO DO THE DEER. tHEY CHEW THEM DOWN TO TUBS. iF YOU GO ON YOU TUBE THEY HAVE MANY RECOMMENDATIONS FOR DEER RESISTANT PLANTS AND FLOWERS.
An idea for your frozen half/half. Try making butter with it. THEN if you save the butter milk/way from making the butter. You could make buttermilk biscuits for the freezer.
Bird houses are a great idea but there are different types of houses for the different types of birds, you need to determine what type of birds are local to your area and put houses up related to those birds ❤
I froze a bunch of half-and-half that I got on sale in 16 oz bottles so I only thawed what I needed for a week yes it's a little lumpy but just keep stirring that coffee cuz you know it's okay it's just the fat. Great for cooking. I always am using one bottle while the next one is thawing as it takes about a week.
Went straight to the blog for the details on this pumpkin muffin but I couldn't locate the measurements for the ingredients.. I'm here trying to guess from the measuring spoons being used LMAO.. We shall see how that turns out..
I love coming home after church on Sunday and joining you in the kitchen. The blueberry Danish and the soup looks yummy! Need your help – When you have extra mashed potatoes you take them and add cheese -don't remember what else. couldn't find the recipe. My nephew and his sweet wife are expecting the middle of October. Can you tell me where you got your bassinet?
I love the retaining wall and fence ❤️It is going to look so good when it is done! You are such an inspiration 🥰. Thanks for sharing the video. Have a great day!🌸🌼🌸🌼🌼🌸🌼
I was tempted to warn you about freezing the half and half for coffee, but I only have experience with freezing whipping cream. Once that's frozen, it's only good for making butter or cooking. On the upside, it turns into butter way faster than normal.
Just a DYI for you incase you haven't thought about this. If you wash the eggs too hard you wash the bloom off of them and they will take in bacteria in the air. But I'm sure you know this. I love your cannel thank you so much.
Becky, would you be willing to share about the first few months with baby? What was the experience like being a first-time mom, some of the most challenging things, what kind of baby is he, etc.? I loved your birth/post p videos, and would love to hear more about your experience.
I don't know about the birds, but please think of making a couple of the houses for bats. They eat their body weight in mosquitos and gnats…. I love bats just for that! Beautiful and good choice. Hugs from Esquimalt
An owl box (rodent control) would be really cool with a cam inside. But I hear you on the birds. My garden (not as big and elaborate as yours) has a hummingbird feeder, water bath for birds powered by a solar pump, seed for birds and another bath.
There are youtubers that were sent geodesic greenhouses free to advertise and I think you have more subs, you should inquire to companies, you will save money and they get advertising.
Could you freeze dry your half and half and then use the powdered half& half in your coffee?

By any chance, have you written a cookbook? Would love to buy one.

You can also hang hummingbird feeders or pollinator plants around too. On deer fence or amongst garden.
Do you wear fake nails? How do you keep them clean with all the gardening and cooking you do?

If you have extra room by the greenhouse, build a small veggie washing station so you don't drag all that dirt in the house.
It's all about the butter.
It seems to me that there is probably a greenhouse maker out there that might like to sponsor you in return for some air time…
The garden is going to be beautiful. Looks very exciting. Can’t wait to see it finished and growing! 👍
Grateful that I am vertical 🤣Sorry that you have been feeling poorly but that was such a funny (and yet relatable) phrase

Love your helpful tips.
Can we get a hair tutorial???? I love your hair!!❤❤
Wonder if you can freeze dry your half and half to make powder creamer.
So much water waste!

You can reuse Ziplock bags = I wash out with just hot soapy water and a sponge, (that goes into the dishwasher) and let them air dry.
Bird baths are also nice
On freezing half and half. If you use one of those hand held frothers, it smooths it out when using in beverages.
You could also incorporate some bee houses on the posts, just a thought since it’s in your garden
I thought you can make butter.
Hi, à quiche cooked in à tarte dish Will Cook quicker and better then in à pie dish (25 minutes). Love watching your videos !
👌🏻🌼👍

I was surprised at how long the onions I purchased last year have lasted in my basement. I'm still using them, too.
