Most regional or ethnic dishes where the cooks are really great have usually learned from Mama or Grandma as a small child & takes years of learning & practicing…so that it looks easy.
So give yourself some grace & 👏👏👏 for even attempting to learn to try something new.
You did great & I'd loved to try the ones you made.

I just make them into florets from the square wraps. If you have any leftovers, Fry it up as is and put into fried rice or put over japanese noodles or ramen. Sooo good! Great job!

I taught a class in our homeschool group called around the world and I prepared food from each one for the kids to try, it was funny how some were so eager and others would wait to see their friends reaction and a few times the moms would come to me the next week and tell us they had a new snack or meal in their house. We also played games from each country and the kids really seemed to enjoy them.

I make pork and leek ones from working class foodies. They are delicious. And for sauce I use soy with a splash of rice wine vinegar and some chopped scallions. Ps making the dough is super easy it’s just flour and water if I remember correctly.

Well done you! I've loved this series and good on you for trying new stuff. Looking forward to France which I've never eaten (except croissants 😊).
For when you get around to the second season, I will throw Portugal's hat in the ring. Extra credit for Azores. ❤

I have really enjoyed your international cuisine experience! You could take the extra won tons, fry them then dip them into cinnamon and sugar. ❤

I got a little dumpling press from Temu and i can honestly roll them quicker without. I make them so much that i can press 50 in about half an hour!!😂😂😂😂 my whole family loves any kind of dumpling fried!! They don't care for pot stickers because they say the top of them taste raw!! Just a bunch of country folk that likes everything fried and greasy!!! I use ground chicken or pork in mine. I've really enjoyed these videos!! Thank you Mandy ❤

I’ve always wanted to make coq au vin, but I may try cassoulet first. It sounds easier. Chicken cordon bleu doesn’t sound too hard to make, but I make it as a casserole. Lol

Crepes might be fun to make. My family loves them. I’m not sure what is traditional, but I served ours with stewed apples and whipped cream. The apples made their own cinnamon syrup. It was tasty. Good luck and hope you have fun with France!

I commend you, Mandy. I would never have the patience to make Japanese food. Too tiny and too tedious. Me? Id rather toss a New York Strip on the charcoal grill. That said, I absolutely love trying foods from around the world. Ive been doing it since I was a kid, whenever the opportunity presents itself. I just think i would starve in Japan.
