This video was great!! I like this type of video, with the whole family in it, it is so relatable…..the mess, the banter….." No whey, yes whey"! 😁😁😁 I have a bunch of tomatoes that I need to do something with and now I am going to try making your sauce. 🥰

    Busy kitchen!
A family affair. Your youngrst daughter seems very much st home in the kitchen. What a good helper. Was your oldest daughter babysitting younger kids? Im sure she is slso handy in the kitchen and she is quite the seamstress , as I remember.

You are honestly such an inspiration – – when I was that far along in my pregnancy, I really only wanted to rest…. but, look at you! You never stop moving! Your energy inspires me & I am positive many more women..

By the way, I think it'd be fun to have a vlog about how you learned to cook….. what your life was like growing up & was it your mom that taught you all you know or did you create your own passion with cooking? Also, I've written this before, but I'm a mom, as well, and one of my "happy zen times" is folding just washed laundry and watching something that makes me feel content, peaceful & cozy…… many times, I pick your vlogs. : ) They always make me want to bake, create a beautiful bouquet, gussy up my home & just feel happy about being the mom that I am. Love your sweet & wholesome vlogs…
    Have a beautiful wknd!

We love water bath canning pickles! Canning peaches this year and even tried some infused with liquor. We also freezer chard and carrots and have a ridiculous amount of pumpkins this year. Luckily they'll keep as-is.

A very enjoyable video. Loved to see your beautiful family involved in the preserving. The cream cheese and bacon peppers looked delicious, an easy make for an oldie who loves delicious food but is single – a no waste treat.
Thank you for all you do and share.🦘🇦🇺

I have taken up canning! I have canned broths, pinto beans, black beans and green beans! Also I am canning up marinara sauce ! I picked up 3 pressure canners at thrift stores, the latest an all American 915 for 12 dollars. Sent away for new parts and received the new parts at about 75 dollars ! Also bought a presto 23 quart and a mirror pressure canner! This year I invested in a steamer juicer and have made about 2 gallons of Concord grape juice , which I canned up . Also back ordered a 921 all American pressure canner! Since lids are hard to come by, I put in a order for tattler lids, you can use them over again many times! Plus I just purchased a water bath canner that only uses very little water, I haven’t used as yet ! Next week I will start canning a lot of my freezer meats, and then I will buy more meat to replace what I canned up . I love that I am canning up my garden produce and busy hands are a balm to me right now with what is going on in this difficult times! God bless. You all !

I enjoyed this video. I am doing some of the same things. I like to grind tomatoes in the food processor and put them in freezer bags for chili and soup in winter. Also, fermenting jalapenos. Making another sauce with cherry tomatoes roasted in the oven with EVOO and blended in a food processor with basil at the end. Put lots of jalapenos, whole and diced, in the freezer for winter. Put up salted , grated, squeezed, zucchini squares in the freezer for quick pasta dishes and fritters. I made a lot of pizza sauce, adding basil, and froze it. Made pesto for pizza with caramelized onion, feta, and olives. Made relish from cucumbers.I also froze whole cherry tomatoes for red lentils and white beans with rosemary. Froze bell peppers chopped to have on hand for pizzas. I am always looking for these kinds of videos for inspiration. You are one of my favorite youtube channels. I appreciate and admire all of your hard work.

Those pizzas look outstanding!!! There is something so comforting with harvesting.. preparing for winter. It’s like when I lived in Iowa and in the fall it was time to put on storm windows. Such a sweet family!!!

Just wondering why you remove the pizzas from the skillets & bake them on a tray? My sourdough skillet pizzas get SO soggy if I ever use fresh motz 😑
Thanks for the vid, your awesome 💜

Enjoyed this video of your family working on your harvest produce. It’s great to see harvest traditions being retained. And it must be lovely to enjoy your bounty throughout the year. Just wondered if your boys help with this preparation? I’m a great believer in both genders learning to be self sufficient and turning their hand to all jobs around the house.

Okay, so was Dad's hands on fire later from the jalapeno oil? I can lots of peppers and girl, the first time I cut up the peppers, I didn't wear gloves and paid for it for like 3 or 4 days. lol

just a heads up to your husband and you, You absolutely should have gloves on when handling jalapeños. And your viewers should know that jalapenos will burn eyes, etc esp. hands if not handled properly. you might want to add something about that.
