Hi. Love to see a Caribbean recipe on your channel; you made my Creole culture felt appreciated. By the way, I am from Trinidad and Tobago ( the southern most island country in the Caribbean). Here, we use lots of Scotch Bonnet (some folks eat them raw, seeds and all 😁) and other very hot peppers, as well as coconut milk and seasonings like pimento berries. I have always enjoyed watching your videos and trying the recipes ( love the Crepe recipe). Looking forward to more. Take care.

Looks delicious. I love soups and make them frequently but I don't think I've ever gone with coconut milk before.. I'm definitely gonna have to try your trick next time. Thank you for another great and inspiring video 🍲🍽

Great job! I made butternut squash soup last week. Tasted great but gave me gas. So much that it was painful. Next time I will throw in a tablespoon of caraway seeds.

Oh. Habanero – 0. Seeded and roasted jalapeño – 2.

Happy New Year Christine! I JUST discovered your channel (your Dad's banana bread recipe popped up) and am looking fwd to watching your previous vids. Have followed your career for many years…and am so pleased to have this opportunity to say Hi….. AND…I have a question about nutmeg: it sounded like you said that the outer shell of the nutmeg was 'mace'. Is that also used as a spice? I remember seeing Mace among my Mom's spices. Wondering if it's the same thing ?

No, your editor should have not deleted the spoon drop. Incidents like these are what give YouTube presentations the warmth and fun that slickly-produced programs just can't match. Cheers!
