You probably should have mentioned that it only takes 4 minutes cook time for white rice since you did say in the beginning that this works "just the same" for white rice. It's not actually the same since you would ruin your white rice if you cooked it for 22 minutes.
So you can use a regular measuring cup? I just got my instant pot today and it has its own plastic measuring cup that was included, so I've been searching youtube as to how to use it with the water ratio (because the manual doesn't speak about it, how annoying!). I found one woman use the included plastic cup but eyeballed her water, and you are using a regular measuring cup with your water but I didn't see how you measured the rice, lol. I think I should have stuck with my good ol' saucepan at this rate of confusion, hehee
what size is your insta pot? Do you wish you went bigger? We are a family of 2.
Would you make wild rice the same as brown rice?
Dont mean to sound rude 2 cups of rice and 2 of water on the stove_ 2cups of rice and 2 1/2 of water in the cooker is more efficient or did I misunderstand?

I just got my instant pot and I'm so excited. We are plant eaters too 🙂 I do have a question. If I wanted to add onions, bell pepper and celery and Diced tomatoes (think vegan jambalaya or Spanish rice) would I cook it the same way, pressure and time? I've enjoyed you videos and will continue to watch, new subscriber.
