    Can I omit the chicken and just add in more mushrooms like dried shiitake mushrooms? If I use store bought reduced sodium chicken stock, can I omit the salt? So that the dish won'y be too salty. Thanks if u can reply. I was just thinking of serving it as a dish with some Baked Garlic Chicken Wings with some italian herbs added. Western dinner. Great side dish esp during this covid 19 pandemic.

    i cook/make something like this except i havent used the oyster sauce and spring onions,, i always try to make one pot meals less clean up time,, just subbed and thumbs – up,, be blessed and safe

    Thank you Roland for not using your channel as a way to further remind people that they're forced to self shelter themselves & their family members. Those who use their social platform in this tasteless manner are inappropriate & self serving. Once again thank you for having the class & decency not to rub people's noses in this unfortunate situation which has people nervous, unsettled & scared!     My sisters and I grew up with cream of mushroom soup. Already have a weeks supply of this and cream of chicken on hand. Usually I add mushrooms and a table spoon of soy sauce. Will give your recipe a try. Thanks.
