It felt really rushed. If you are in that much of a hurry, why break out the camera…?
I love your videos but this one is just not up to your normal standards – in my opinion.

Have you ever fixed spiced peaches? For some reason, I've been thinking of those and haven't hunted up a recipe yet. I'd bought some, and I think they might be easy to fix homemade by cooking peaches with the spices or using canned peaches, plus the spices needed and marinate or cook, then refrigerate for a day or so. If you do home canning, maybe, but I've never tried that. My grandmother used to have me help her can plum jelly and fig preserves back when I was little, but wow, too long ago. I remember she sterilized everything in sight, haha. But my impression is, you could do a quick refrigerator and stovetop method for spiced peaches. Coves, cinnamon, nutmeg, not sure what else, maybe allspice.

Great ideas. For the Mac and cheese, why not add the bouillon powder after you drain the macaroni, add it along with the paprika or other spices? Then you get more zing of flavor, and it's incorporated into the cheese and Alfredo sauce blend. Maybe a little parsley or basil or both? — One of the things my grandmother would do for zucchini was a little onion and vinegar, so you got nt really pickles, but just a splash of flavor. Not sure what the kiddo would think of that, but he gets points for wanting zucchini. 🙂 Not sure what else my grandmother might've done for the zucchini raw or otherwise, but I feel like she had another trick I'm not remembering.

Hi Angelica!! I'm obsessed with these "what to cook when you don't want to cook" type of videos!! I see you doing you very best while filming and cooking simultaneously – what are your thoughts on using a GoPro so that you have some more dexterity?

Gotta say, might be my favorite video from you. Mostly because it was raw and real. Felt like I was sitting with a friend in the kitchen rather than watching a staged cooking show. I really enjoyed the relatability of it!

I make a very similar rub to yours but instead of beef bouillon for BBQ chicken I use Knorr Caldo de Tomate which has tomato flavor and chicken flavor as well. In addition, I add brown sugar and the usual spices to the rub and as the rub melts during cooking, it pretty much turns into BBQ sauce.

Yum! Thanks for sharing! I love that you make chicken in the air fryer. Have you thought about having an emergency food supply on hand? Like extras of what your family eats everyday so you don't run out of ingredients. Just a thought since you said you were out of elbow macaroni. God bless. ❤
