In my experience, the spicy salsa is the least flavorful of the Hilo varieties . I tried several varieties of the Beyond Chipz and I agree with your assessment of the texture/mouth feel. I like their flavoring but the texture is a no go for me. Haven’t had the Quest chips in a long time but their price and the after taste wasn’t something I enjoyed. 🤞that someone will come up with some great Keto Chips soon!

I have wanted to try the Beyond Chipz for awhile now, but didn't want to risk wasting $'s. I will definitely try them now. Quest was always my favorite until Atkins chips came along, which I like better. However, I have found a recipe on another channel that is the best of all of them. Only draw back is I have to make them! LOL – No wonder we all love convenience foods these days!

I actually really like the HiLo chips. I’ve purchased the taco flavor and the nacho and they work well for a plate of nachos with ground beef, guac, cheese, salsa and sr cream on them. Also eat them out of the bag when I want a crunchy chip. I did not like the quest. To me they taste like their powder in chip form. Thank you both for the review!

I love Terry's comments and the quoted 'healthy' taste. I know exactly what she means. That is the taste I don't like either. I want food that is healthy but passes a blind taste test with non-healthy junk food. If you can taste it's keto, it's not great but may be tolerable.

Love Terrys opinion from a non keto person. I have not tried the beyond brand and was not sold on other two. I am interested in trying the Atkins that are at my local stores. Keep up your reviews. I find them extremely helpful.

Thanks for the video. I like to buy things on sale to try them. That's what I did with Hilo not long ago, right after you reviewed them. Just picked up a few bags of the Quest chips the other day, and they went well with my burger.

Love the quest chips. Like the Hilo. Hate the Beyond ones. I usually eat them with sour cream.

I love that Terry is participating more. She is getting more and more comfortable on camera and her personality is coming out. Hope she continues on. ❤

Hey Steve! I was wondering if you have tried making those cottage cheese chips? I saw Ketotwins try them and they like them. So it will be my next experiment as price wise you can get 16 oz of cottage cheese for $2.50.

I have tried all three of these brands of chips too. I prefer the Quest Chips for eating alongside a burger or by themselves. I keep them on hand all the time. The Hilo Chips are delicious as well, but I prefer Quest. The Beyond Chipszare best for eating with dips, but I think pork rinds do just as well with dips and are cheaper than BeyondChipz

I don't think there is a perfect Keto chip, but Quest is my all-around favorite so far. You can dip it as long as you're careful. I've tried a few that I found vile, so until you tell me you found something better I'm sticking with Quest! I also love that I can pick them up right at Walmart. Thanks for your review.

I don't really have a dog in this fight, as none of these products are available where I live, but I am wondering how you melted the cheese. If you did it in the microwave, that seems an unfair test; microwaving is basically steaming. Lots of foods go soggy in the microwave.

    (apologies if I misunderstood)

We've tried all these brands, we like Hilo the best, the beyond chips were Nasty 🤢🤢🤢 and the quest chips are great if we find them on sale. I found the 4 packs at Walmart for 4$ once, I like the Atkins ones when they're on sale as well. Though probably better for the wallet and staying on track to not have any of them. But who am I kidding, I like and miss chips so I get whatever is cheaper… Just not the beyond ones… Have a great day Steve! Thanks for another great video!

I love the Beyond plain or salty variety. They have the best texture. Alone there is a very slight vegetable type flavor. But with salsa, or cheese sauce on them, it is an awesome chip substitute

Steve, your recipes are so much better than these over priced commercial things. When we want nachos we make your tortillas, fry them up, then make a supper of them with all the Keto friendly stuff we like. I save this for an OMAD day, and don’t count the carbs, have what I want. The only problem is the price of avocado oil now to fry with.

Personally I like the hilo chips. Quest chips just don't give me a tortilla chip vibe…more like potato chip but that makes me want something that tastes like lay's. The beyond chips are ok but eventually feel like cardboard and make my mouth dry. But thats just me. Everyone has their own preferences. I like Terry's comment of "taste good for you or tastes healthy". I enjoy the product reviews.

Hi Steve any Terry loved this video I wanted to let you know I found some Cauliflower Tortilla Chips. The brand is Real Food From the Ground Up. I bought the Nacho Flavor ones they also have Sea Salt and I think BBQ. They were $4 something. Can’t remember right now but I really enjoy eating them. The down side is the Carbs are high, 19 total carbs with only 2 Dietary Fiber. So not really Keto Friendly, serving size is 10 chips so I do try and eat a little less then 10, most of the time. 🤷🏽‍♀️😂
