My family and I only use corn tortillas for our enchiladas, authentic and tastier. I wanted to try your way, so I did follow your recipe exactly and it came out delicious. It taste more like a wet burrito then enchiladas with the flour tortillas. I'm keeping this recipe and calling it "Chicken Tortilla Casserole". Thank you Paula for sharing.

Ok maybe this is tasty but please don’t call it “enchilada” casserole. That has nothing to do with enchiladas. Using soup and sour cream? You have no enchilada sauce and FLOUR TORTILLAS? what the heck? Only corn in enchiladas. My New Mexico blood just ran cold lol

Dish is very similar to King Ranch chicken, its a nice variant from it. Instead of the chipote
in abobo added, thought about rotel. But than been King Ranch almost.

Tried the recipe. Since make different mexican dishes. I did add an ingredient. This is
personal and some may not like the extra spice. Added a small 4oz can of chipote in abobo
sauce. Depending on a person spice level, you can chop those devils up straight from the can.
But I did not want to change it up that much, just a little more kick so i drained and cleaned the
seeds out of the peppers before chopping. It gives a little smokey taste

I have the same recipe, but how we make it is to spoon the chicken mixture onto the tortilla, and we use the six inch one, roll it and place it in the sprayed pan. The reserved sauce (1 cup) is mixed with milk, 1/4 cup and poured over the top. Cheese is put on top.

Salvation is easy but ‘religion’ complicates it.

God deserves all the glory, honour and power!!

God, manifest in the flesh, bore the sins of the whole world to save us all from going to hell.

Romans 6:23 – For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

BELIEVE from your heart in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary and get saved now, before it’s too late for your soul.

    1 Corinthians 15:1-4 – Ephesians 1:13

Ephesians 2:8-9 – [8] For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Lost souls, please get saved now, time is running out.

Heaven and Hell are REAL, LITERAL places.

There’s a ONLY 1 eternity to choose from – choose wisely for your souls.
