since i found you on youtube i'm getting more and more touched in my heart.. God shows me through you how to do things differently in my house and cook, plan things and make things easier for myself. you hit me again and again thank you for that. lots of love from a mother from the Netherlands♡♡
We like to judge Christmas lights. Pickup McDonalds or whatever and drive around judging lights is our December tradition.
My mom has a worn cookbook also, we use it for the red velvet cake, one year I was making the cake and spilled the red food coloring all over the book, great memories.
Amy, perhaps (not sure) this is a good idea, to go through your "old" cookbook and see where you perhaps made some notes on various recipes. Might be good to transfer those over to the new one, if you perhaps perfected or changed some dishes. That is if you haven't thrown it away yet. 😉
Thanks Amy for sharing my cookbook!!! You are such an inspiration!
A giant word find my be fun for all ages.
Referring to 1 Collosians 1, the FATHER saved me from my past, including a toxic relationship. Through HIS love, guidance and leading, HE has given me healing, strength, maturity and confidence that is lifechanging and unbreakable because it comes from HIM.
How do I upload photos here
Got you this planner for Christmas, just have to decorate with vinyl.🙂🎄
One of ours is the pickle. My grandfather started it. He hides the pickle on the Christmas tree. Whoever finds it gets an extra present from each member of the family. We try for homemade gifts. ( We try.)
What about your older children? , and grand kids?
I so enjoy your videos! Yours is my favorite channel on Youtube. Thank you for always sharing. I love planning videos so thank you for this one!! Always fun and helpful to see how others plan their days, weeks, months, etc. Request: I would love to see a video later on of how you prepare for a new year. I believe you shared something like that before, but wouldn't mind hearing again. 🙂
You should try the card game called ‘ Old Maid’, it’s a great family fun card game, and you get lots of laughter playing it. It’s multiplayer, and basically there is a picture of an old maid on one of the cards, and who is the last one to end up with it is the loser and is the ‘ old maid’. It’s fun!
We do the gingerbread houses , Christmas movie Marthon, we also do a paper chain count down for Christmas and our sons birthday, another idea would to be throwing a birthday for jesus that sounds like alot of fun , snow ice cream making for fun , sledding, check to see if your local library has any events ours sometimes has crafts or a board game night both of those you could do at home , a book I like to reference for celebrating various times is celebrate ! A holiday handbook for churches , home or school by Patricia Alderdice senseman.
one Christmas we had a ham leg for a family of 5 and for about a week we had ham every day. no one ate ham again
I am not a planner by nature but I’ve learned the great value of planning.
I start saving for Christmas in January. I set a gifts budget for the whole year and stick to it. That way I don’t go crazy with Christmas gifts, because I know how much I plan to spend per person and I’ve saved up the money in smaller amounts every month.
Fun family traditions – we went for sleigh rides. Anything outdoor at night is special. Follow up with hot cocoa.
Loved this video! Some awesome ideas. Thank you 😊
Where is your other half?? No Ann8versary video , or shoppung together??
@amymaryon google marry me chicken I made it the other night for the first time it was delicious also there is a potato pizza it’s really good too but definitely try the marry me chicken I paired mine with egg noodles
Such a great chatty video. I LOVE Your pizza dough recipe. I remember you used to make those a lot. I need to make more too. I have 2 left in my freezer. I did Jamerill's and yours. Write "Amy's recipe" on yours hehe
I love the puzzle idea. We posted a calendar for a time out with mommy (we did daddy too) so throughout the yr, each child has gone out individually with each of us 3-4 times each. I LOVE your movie night idea where 1 kid chooses the movie but the cute spreads you make to eat too. For Christmas we buy the chocolate Advent calendars from Aldi. Under $2. Each kid gets one. We open it together every night while we read a Christmas fun book from our home collection. This yr I bought a doggie bone Advent calendar too hehe
Your family may enjoy King Ranch Chicken. Cultured dairy may be easier to digest. Also, lactose free milk for ease on the tummy. Problem is with commercial dairy is the lactase (which breaks done lactose) is removed making it hard to digest, raw milk is the best and easy to digest.
Hi, Amy Maryon, I wanted to message you but I was having trouble with my phone, here. I found out I have to go buy another flat battery (Lithium) for it cause then I'm charging all the time. Just to give you a heads up if it a long time from hear from me. But, I will keep your Family I my prayers. OK. I want to say, Hi, Ahhh, Nuts. :-. I just forgot your son's name, here. The one I talk about (older one). Well, Please, tell him HI, & I wish him well, for me. Bye for now. Sincerely, Elsa R. (From out in California). :-).
I love your chit chats. I feel like we are friends. You have great ideas and I learn so much from you. Looking forward to the holidays with your family.
Be blessed Amy.
😍😍😍😍❤
I could be mistaken but didn't u want and or need a new nativity set? Love ur videos
I just started budgeting for the year, I started in February with a free budgeting app. I’m still working it out but it definitely helped me feel more in control!
Very helpful I already do some and I am going to implement other things you mentioned. Christmas is joyful but if you don't have a plan in place it can quickly escalate you go out for tape for the 10 time forget and think it is more wrapping paper you need. Lists and planning for keeping things on track all year round so helpful. Going to see Christmas lights and nativy getting a hot chocolate and singing Carole's on the way home Flynn family favourite and having an advent calendar with little lovely messages we would write and put in for each other little wooden advent box of appreciate words. The puzzle Matt is a good idea. ❤️🤗
Keep your old cookbook it shows all the love for your family maybe one of your kids will want it someday ❤memories! I like the lanterns on the table. Always have a puzzle going keeps the brain working lol 😆 ❤😊
