Amy, perhaps (not sure) this is a good idea, to go through your "old" cookbook and see where you perhaps made some notes on various recipes. Might be good to transfer those over to the new one, if you perhaps perfected or changed some dishes. That is if you haven't thrown it away yet. 😉

Referring to 1 Collosians 1, the FATHER saved me from my past, including a toxic relationship. Through HIS love, guidance and leading, HE has given me healing, strength, maturity and confidence that is lifechanging and unbreakable because it comes from HIM.

One of ours is the pickle. My grandfather started it. He hides the pickle on the Christmas tree. Whoever finds it gets an extra present from each member of the family. We try for homemade gifts. ( We try.)

I so enjoy your videos! Yours is my favorite channel on Youtube. Thank you for always sharing. I love planning videos so thank you for this one!! Always fun and helpful to see how others plan their days, weeks, months, etc. Request: I would love to see a video later on of how you prepare for a new year. I believe you shared something like that before, but wouldn't mind hearing again. 🙂

You should try the card game called ‘ Old Maid’, it’s a great family fun card game, and you get lots of laughter playing it. It’s multiplayer, and basically there is a picture of an old maid on one of the cards, and who is the last one to end up with it is the loser and is the ‘ old maid’. It’s fun!

A holiday handbook for churches , home or school by Patricia Alderdice senseman.

I am not a planner by nature but I’ve learned the great value of planning.

I start saving for Christmas in January. I set a gifts budget for the whole year and stick to it. That way I don’t go crazy with Christmas gifts, because I know how much I plan to spend per person and I’ve saved up the money in smaller amounts every month.

Fun family traditions – we went for sleigh rides. Anything outdoor at night is special. Follow up with hot cocoa.

I love the puzzle idea. We posted a calendar for a time out with mommy (we did daddy too) so throughout the yr, each child has gone out individually with each of us 3-4 times each. I LOVE your movie night idea where 1 kid chooses the movie but the cute spreads you make to eat too. For Christmas we buy the chocolate Advent calendars from Aldi. Under $2. Each kid gets one. We open it together every night while we read a Christmas fun book from our home collection. This yr I bought a doggie bone Advent calendar too hehe

Your family may enjoy King Ranch Chicken. Cultured dairy may be easier to digest. Also, lactose free milk for ease on the tummy. Problem is with commercial dairy is the lactase (which breaks done lactose) is removed making it hard to digest, raw milk is the best and easy to digest.

Very helpful I already do some and I am going to implement other things you mentioned. Christmas is joyful but if you don't have a plan in place it can quickly escalate you go out for tape for the 10 time forget and think it is more wrapping paper you need. Lists and planning for keeping things on track all year round so helpful. Going to see Christmas lights and nativy getting a hot chocolate and singing Carole's on the way home Flynn family favourite and having an advent calendar with little lovely messages we would write and put in for each other little wooden advent box of appreciate words. The puzzle Matt is a good idea. ❤️🤗
