Tammy I've always used left over beef roast for my soup never thought to use ground beef…but will have to try it…I used your suggestion of boiling my sliced potatoes for scalloped potatoes for Christmas and you were exactly right it didn't take forever and they actually tasted better…Thank You so much for all the good recipes and "tips" you share with us…🎄Merry Christmas 🎅🎄

I live in Upper East Tennessee and I can tell you that we cook very simular. I guess its a Southern thing. Like the big country breakfast you fixed it was like I was fixing it myself. I grate my potatoes on a grater too but I squeeze the excess water out. And the gravy was spot on too. I enjoy watching you and love to hear about what it was like growing up in your neck of the woods. Keep the recipes and stories coming.

Hi, Tammy. I don't have my presents wrapped either. Yesterday I made sugar cookies (mixed dough the night before) and chocolate chip cookies, today I put together and baked the Christmas Eve lasagna and made the sauce. I saw that you had your kitchen aid mixer out the other day and guess what? I grated all the cheeses for the lasagna with my new grating attachments for my k.a.mixer and let me tell you and all viewers… THAT'S THE TICKET! SO FAST, SO MUCH EASIER! I RECOMMEND IT TO ALL! It saved my shoulder and arm from the muscle rub stand-by!

Yum! Looks delicious. Just finished making a lot of cookies. Was trying to make up my mind how I will serve the smoked salmon and got distracted by your excellence as usual. Thank you so much! I hope you have a great, excellent, blessed Christmas. OMG, purple hull peas! sooooo good.
