LIMONCELLO is one of the most famous Italian liqueurs in the universe. Three ingredients make up my Nonna’s #family recipe and the flavour explodes like a …
I'm starting my batch today! Thank you so much to Nonna for the video and recipe! I have a question. We cannot get Everclear (grain alcohol/pure alcohol) here in California. The best I can do is Vodka. I know it won't taste the same. My question is this: Do I adjust the amount of water and sugar since I am using 80 proof vodka? Thanks in advance for your help!
Does anyone know where to find the glass bottles in this video?
My 20 days are up and I am finishing mine up today, thank you so much for the recipe. Please send Nonna my thanks.
Thank you for this ! Came out very delicious!
Grazie Nonna !!! I will be making this very soon. I have the lemons soaking now ! Baci !!!
The best Limoncello recipe in the world? Quite possibly!
I made this recipe using my neighbor's home grown organic meyer lemons and Everclear. I strained my batch three times with a mesh strainer and cheesecloth. Everything came out clear and beautiful so I bottled in clean swingcap bottles. After a couple of weeks in the bottles, I noticed small floating particles, but no cloudiness, and they seem to keep accumulating. Is my limoncello ruined? Should I strain it again and re-bottle? I wanted to gift these so please let me know what I did wrong. Thank you!
After bottling, does it need to be stored in the fridge or can it sit in the open?
Going to try this recipe this weekend looks delicious!! One question though… the cup if water added to the lemons… Is it from the mix of water and sugar or a separate cup of water?
Love the bottles.
Can you do the same exact thing to orange peels?
I just found you… From Pasta Grannies… I love seeing Vincenzo with his tiny grandmothers.
I love this!! Nina is the best!! Definitely going to try her recipe!!
Grazie Nonna!
Y con los limones pelados te haces una limonada para no desperdiciar

I wanted to see how to make limoncello. Now I want to call my grandma in heaven.
superrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr starsssssssssssssssssssssss

she is my mother's twin , they look just alike , really funny
OMG Nonna…that looks delicious….I need to try this, lemons are my favorite fruit. I will bring some to you & have a cheer although it probably won't taste as good as yours! Can this be made with oranges too?Thank you for all your excellent recipes!
Made me miss my Nonna! Loved this video.
Recipe says 1 liter. Is that a liter bottle or a 750ml fifth bottle you get at the store?
The reason I ask is I am having to use the 750ml bottles so to make it easier and use 2 bottles (1.5liter) I'm adding 1/2 to all ingredients. So that's 1050g sugar (700X1.5=1050), 2.25 liter water (1.5×1.5=2.25) for two 750ml (1.5L) of everclear. But can only get 151 here. Peels are in the grain alcohol now. I used 15 lemons (9×1.5=14.5). Hope I did my math right.
Tasty stuff 😋
Wow Vincenzo. I love Nonna. Thanks for sharing. Grazie
Why is Nonna's basic (not the cream) Limoncello opaque? Mine comes out more clear. When I've had it in Italy it looked like Nonna's though! Thanks.
what are the measurements for the sugar and cream ?
How long can you store this?
I've been looking for a limoncello recipe. This is definitely the one. Thanks Nonna.
I have a lemon tree in my backyard. I usually use the harvest just to make lemon water and as ingredients, but next time I think I have something new to try…
Nonna, mille grazie! I miei migliori auguri con tanto affetto!!!!!!
Could you make it with oranges limes or grapefruit?
Grazie Nonna! She looks just like my husband's Nonna!
I liked just for Nonna and this is a fantastic recipe.
Vincenzo, great recipe my friend, what size bottles are they ?? 35cl or 50cl ?? thanks
Why aren’t you squeezing in the lemon juice as well?
i want to make this…how long we can keep it in refrigirator?
This video is great to learn and it's delightful to hear a Italian talk, with Nonna! It makes such a difference and we can just see and agree how ur nonna it's a wonderful person! Awesome! Waiting more 10 days to finish my limoncello!
As asked, what brand of organic alcohol? Grazie!
this is cheating though. this is not making lemoncello, if you're using store-bought alcohol!
Delicious limoncello! Grazie Nona💕
Sooo delish! Thanks Nona! I have made this a few times but my liquid is always clear? I never get that cloudy, emulsification. Am I doing something wrong?
🙂
Glad to see this video. Will give making this a try.
