I love you Jan. I watch you more than I do all the others. Just please use a wooden spoon when you scrape food out of pots. I wear hearing aids and that sound is so bad in my ears. Thank you keep up the most entertain videos on my iPhone. Evelyn. I’m 87. 😁

I’m Italian. The gnocchi are pronounced
“n-yo-key.” The o is not as hard as in English; so, it would be more like a sound between o and aw. FYI, it’s the same sound as “gn” in French. Filet mignon. In fact, the French pronunciation of the “gno” is the same as the “gno” in gnocchi. Hope this helps. 🙂

Ms. Jan, I made this last night for dinner and my husband LOVED it! I used small Ravioli from Aldi since that's what I had on hand, and I used Pictsweet Stew Vegetables instead of the stir fry veggies. Still I am so glad I watch your recipes, we've had some yummy meals!

I wouldn't put breakfast sausage in an Italian meal. I would have just gotten two of the kielbasa if that's all they had. We have very good vegan sausages so I would probably use a couple of packages of the Italian sausage. There was also a maple apple sausage in small links for breakfast for breakfast for dinner. Those are very tasty! I have cut those in half and put them in a muffin cup with pancake batter poured over them and it makes a much easier pigs in a blanket.

Oh dear, you mean I am not the only one who means to pick up one thing and when I get home I see I actually grabbed something else? 🙂 This looks like a great meal. Do you think a person could just substitute some tube-style breakfast sausage instead of the link-style? I just love that you put some water in that sauce jar to get out the extra. So sensible!! This will get made soon since I ran across some tortellini in the pantry that needs to get used. Thank you so much, Jan!

Jan, there is a recipe that my granny use to make when I was a little girl. it was macaroni with fresh tomatoes that had been canned. she would add ingredients to the canned tomatoes and it was so good. Do you know what is in this recipe? love your channel and all your recipes. they are great. thanks. Jill.
