when you deep fry you can't leave the kitchen. 40 minutes to clean my mess, prepare a dip and cut up some veggies is nice. I can even go watch a Netflix show pausing three times to mess with the ninja and turn the wings a couple times.

Loving this. Did about the same quantity last night – used a mix of olive oil & Adobo after PC & before AF. Did 7 minutes, tossed, 7 minutes more then made the mistake of another 7 minutes so they were a bit overdone but still tasty 🙂

Do you have to Pressure cook the wings? I can’t just drop them in a let them go from there? By the time I do alla this I could have dropped them in my Power XL and in 20 Mike’s done. I am new with the foodie. The wings I work with most often is precooked, but asking for both situations. Seems to pressure cook them their already cooked then to Crisp would be ova kill.

I only like flaps or flats, lol whatever they are called. I call them chicken forearms. LOL I hate paying more from wing places for all flaps. Half the time they give me all drummettes! Grrrr! Oh the humanity! First world problems. LOL so when I get my Foodi ( hopefully for Christmas ) I'mma micro boil all my chicken since they are mixed in the bag. That way I can throw off all the chicken water in case it's got any chicken stinkies in it. And they will be moister too I think. I want to save my new foodi for air frying only. Then Imma take my drummets and take the meat off and make me some chicken and rice on the side. Sounds healthy don't it? Chicken and rice with wangs on the side. LOL I am a southern girl after all. I get my greens from the WinnDixie deli though cause I'm a lazy butt southern girl. I can make grits but my greens suck. Dollar Tree has wangs sauce! Yay so I can't wait to use my foodi?? I hope Santa sees this and brings me one. LOL hope y'all have a merry ChickenMas and a Happy new Wangs. LOL. <3

Anyone know how many wings or how many pounds of wings the 8 qt Ninja will hold ? The link above is for the 6.5. Just ordered the
8 qt. I have used that House Autry making wings / legs in a deep fryer and it is good. IF you look to the left, sitting on the stove that is a popcorn kettle, those work really well.

Great video and comments that have convinced me to finally give in and buy one of these ingenuous devices. This is one thing that all people in this country can come together on; great food and especially crisp chicken wings. Here's my 2 cents worth of contribution. I have found that using a batter made of rice flour makes fried foods very crispy.

I know this video is about wings, but when I wondered if they had to be done one layer at a time, that had my wondering about the dehydrator feature. I've seen an expensive accessory that one rack with several layers so i'm assuming they do have to be done one layer at a time if you don't have this special rack. Have you tried it?
