So happy for you two !! I did a cross country trip for three months with 3 dogs and loved it. Contemplated selling my house but it’s a hard decision. Oh my gosh, it was a rude remark. But the way u handled this remark was so elegant. Instead of reacting to it emotionally, u could turn it into something funny. The person who made that impolite statement was a narrow minded person. He/she was so absorbed in labelling people that they could not see the wood for the trees. Being a hooker is not about the way someone gets dressed. A good few friends of mine like wearing sexy clothes, but once they come across someone catcalling or touching them, they will surely lay their hand on them; no messing around. However a lot of sex workers get dressed "politely", they do have sex with practically anybody who can afford it. U were already right in your response to this statement, don't descend to his/her level.
