We had a gas stove in '92 after hurricane Andrew, guess who could still eat hot meals after the power went out for 2 months! I was only 9, but I remember my mom saying how lucky we were to have that kind of stove. I'm with you 100% on that!

That looks so yummy! It's a home version of a Neapolitan pastry, right down to the chocolate pattern. The dough you made is called choux pastry (pronounced shoe). You can make so many things from that pastry, like cream puffs, google it. Thank you Dee, keep well 😊

You need to buy yourself a stand mixer, they have a splash guard on them, plus you can put everything in , turn on & the mixer does the work

I tend to bake the same way, Dee and I clean as i go along too. Yuuummmm!!! Looks delicious! Definitely plan on making this…have everything but the instant vanilla puddin' and tubs of whip cream which my small town grocer will hopefully have in stock and deliver when i put an order for some groceries in next Tuesday. Until then I'll just Drool…and satisfy myself with my standby; a good ole' fashioned chocolate bar. Take good care of YOU ! Hi to Jess..
