We take on the semi-new version of Phoenix at night, with one of the worst setups I have had in a fixed series.

    OK, here's my novel:
I was able to run down the pack and win my race at myrtle beach by saving tires. I come here with the same mentality. In practice, my times were a good amount off from the top couple cars, but just figuring everyone was hot lapping, and that those times weren't sustainable in the race. They were sliding through the corners, especially out of 4. I got 5th by trying to avoid wearing the tires, but I never really gained any ground on anyone during the race. I talked to the winner, and watched his replay, he was basically driving it like a dirt car the whole race, really sliding and sawing at the wheel. Tons of counter-steering. I would've thought he wouldn't have had any meat left on his tires. His tire wear was about 83 on RF and RR, mine were like 93 on the RR and RF. After watching his replay and chatting with him, I think I was definitely under driving the car, and I had a lot of unused tire by the end. Let me know what you think.
