The flat beater design is interesting. I assume kitchenaid would have tested one with the bar/bars across the middle but that pocket of unmixed batter defiantly is a problem I’ve experienced too. I’d love to see someone with a 3D printer made a flat beater that’s not totally open in the middle to see if it mixes better. The way i deal with it is just give it a few pulses up to speed 10 and it knocks the batter/dough around enough to mix that middle part.
What brand are your long handled colorful spatulas?
Have you seen the Instant pot stand mixer yet? If you get one please do a review for it.
What a cute mixer! Can you please review the new 7qt KitchenAid mixer that just came out? There are no videos yet, so yours for sure would be popular.
Hey Amy, I have four different KitchenAids, had the mini now for over a year, it’s definitely my go to mixer, it performs extremely well, love it.
I wonder maybe if you can buy the mini paddle attachment with the middle bar for the mini separately? Seems like KA does that on purpose to encourage add on purchases.
I would like to see how the mini handles making whole wheat bread.
Yum!
I just got my first KitchenAid mixer, Artisan, for $338! Can't wait to use it!
Hi Amy & Eric!!! Yes that's a cute mixer. I don't like the color but for that cheap price I would take it. It worked good on your pumpkin cake. Nice for little things. Good review. Great video!!!…
I can see the advantage of the mini for those who live in an apartment or small condo and space is at a premium.
P.S. I think that pumpkin cake would be awesome with some pecans or walnuts.
This recipe is not on your web site. Would you please post it?
$379 on Amazon. You got a good deal.
Can’t find the recipe Will you be posting it. Thanks
Loved this
Nice Amy, but I prefer my 2 Full Size Stand Mixers. 4.5 and 6 Qts.
Yesterday I just bought my first ka, the artisan 5qt. Getting ready to do the DIME test then I'm going to make sugar cookies
The Mini has a surprising amount of power for its size, because of the DC motor. In spite of the lower wattage of the Mini, it actually has more power than the Artisan, the Ultra, or the Classic. So I would consider using the Mini for a bread recipe before I would the Artisan.
What a Bargain ! I would have got one at that price too!
I bought my daughter a pink one for breast cancer awareness. It's beautiful but I prefer my beast 7 quart lift stand.
