Good!! Kids do need vaccines, there will be no side effects usually except pain where they get injection which is usual. Give them pain killers and let them sleep it off 🙂

For the Vaccine pain you can apply some ice. Fold the ice cube in small cloth and put it on vaccine area. It gives more relief..

Regarding garlic paste, I have a tip. U can easily keep garlic paste in fridge (in an air tight jar). Just add a little salt and some oil while grinding. They work as natural preservatives (personal experience 😁).
