I recommend adding a good splashing vinegar at the start for any beans and lentils. They say not to, but it's beneficial in pressure cooking as the beans will all stay perfectly intact.

Thank you for taking the time to make your videos! I am going to start using dry beans, chickpeas, etc because I am trying to cut out my sodium from my canned goods. There are some no salt added cans, but I am having difficulty finding them. I ordered your cookbook and so excited to receive it when it is released.

One advantage to using the Bean/Chili button is that the preset time is already at or near the time you need. But that only saves a few seconds of pressing the plus sign. I do use mine, just because I cook a lot of beans.

I used to cook beans in my slow cooker, in the last couple of hours I threw in bacon. Do you know how I could incorporate the bacon with the beans in the IP? TIA
