I have always loved the flats!
I never have room in my refrigerator to do any dry brining like that with chicken. I can manage to do it with a steak but they don't take as much room. What works for me is preheating my oven to the lowest setting and then shutting it off. I stick the chicken in the oven on a rack and leave it in there for a half hour while the oven cools down. But most of the time I don't feel like waiting for any of that so I just dry them off for the towel the best I can. And do the broiler trick.
Yes, a little spritz of oil might have helped you get your wings crispier or turn on the broiler for the last minute or two while they're cooking. I always stick my wings back in under the broiler for a minute after I sauce them, even with creamy sauces. When I make these wings I'll do that and give them a little sprinkle of cheese before I stick them back under to crisp up and brown.

Looks great, can't wait to try it out, we'll have to cook them on the grill outside, too hot for an oven this time of year here (not far from Buffalo, NY, whose residents would be glad to try your recipe)

We make a variation of this cream sauce in every meal we eat, but we mainly use pepperjack or some kind of cheese with spice to it. We can find ghost pepper and other things locally. The sauce tastes good on basically everything from vegetables to meat.

Oh my… "Fork It", the heavenly alfredo sauce smell is haunting me. My favorite part of the chicken wing ~ is the thigh. I know, I know. This will get made, it looks fabulous. I love your tee, perfect for this recipe. HUGS
