I am trying to figure out macros. I understand thm isn't really about that more about freedom but coming from a over eating place I need more rules becauae I don't recognize how much I do consume. Height 5'6" 260 now want to be around 140 to 150 . Have type. Diabeties and hypothyroidism thanks would love any help you have to offer

Jalepeno Popper Chicken Soup, Fat Head Pizza, Keto Enchiladas (essentially melting cheese in oven to make the shells and filling with your fav enchilada stuffing), buffalo chicken (i mix buffalo sauce and cream cheese with shredded chicken and put on a giant salad. Kids favorite is 1 lb ground meat browned, mix with 4oz cream cheese, 1/2 c shredded cheddar cheese – stir until combined – place in greased 9×9 baking dish – then top with eggs (we do 4 eggs mixed with 1-2T of heavy cream – stir and pour over top) bake in oven until eggs set – time will varying depending on number of eggs you use. It saves in fridge well and the kids devour it!

Nice talk! Just thought I’d share my experience with Keto and THM. I tried THM for 6 months and the scale didn’t budge, in fact I gained 12 pounds. I then tried Keto for another 6 months and had no weight loss. As a last resort, I got Maria Emmerich’s 30-Day Keto Cleanse, which eliminates all dairy and nuts and incorporates Intermittent Fasting. I never ever thought I could give up dairy or do Intermittent Fasting, but the cleanse made it easier. I would fast for 16 hours and my eating window is 8 hours. I also found some good butter substitutes, like butter flavored coconut oil, Miyoko’s Vegan Butter, and some good fats from Fatworks. Additionally, I took a lot of supplements to help boost my immunity, reduce inflammation, and heal my gut and mitochondria. I know it was a bit expensive up front, but once I had everything I needed to succeed, I haven’t had to purchase anything except for meat and vegetables. I have adapted so well to this way of eating, I extended the cleanse and am now on day 45 of the cleanse. I have never seen weight come off easier or faster and I am peri-menopausal! I have lost 25 pounds since starting the cleanse and plan to not add dairy or nuts for awhile. Also, it’s amazing how your grocery bill goes down when you don’t buy dairy products. Again, I was the queen of dairy and never thought I could give it up. I also purchased Maria Emmerich’s Easy Dairy Free Keto Cookbook which has many more recipes, so I can keep it interesting. I’m not recommending you do this, but just wanted to share my experience since I too lead a stressful life, and have had no success with getting the scale to budge.

Great video! It’s sooo true, my mental state totally affects the way I eat. If I’m stressed I turn to food.
I love the key lime pie from one of your VEDA videos. I make it more THM friendly by not making the crust. Because it has a lot of extra fat. I pour the filling into little pudding containers. The best part is the filling anyway.
I also always sub out the full fat cream cheese in all recipes for the 1/3 less fat. Not a new idea but helps not to go overboard on the fats.
