A Bee, those nasty little annoying flying ā€˜thingsā€™ šŸ¤£. Love your yarn haul/order and seeing your daily tasks. I love plants, but have a deadly green thumb, have you ever thought about doing a ā€œcrochet a longā€? Keep up the great videosšŸ³ļøā€šŸŒˆšŸ³ļøā€šŸŒˆ. I would love seeing a soap making episodešŸ˜„

Wow, you are so busy, how do you fit it all in. I loved this video about your plants, omg I never knew they could be so expensive and you only got two leaves and no roots on one of them, rip off! I would have been cross too. You are giving it such loving care I'm willing it to survive. I loved your butter/yoghurt making too and you make soap, I make soap (novice) would you make a soap making video sometime? And of course the lovely yarn you brought, shame some of it was hanging out the bottom of the box, that could have got so ruined and dirty. Hugs to you both and thank you for the great videos.

Ahhh the memories. Milking cows. Having fresh milk and making fresh butter and cheese. Everything on the farm was homemade.
City life has really wrecked me. Lol
    Thanks for the great tutorials.
Enjoy your fresh butter and Greek yogurt.

How big is your temperature blanket going to be??? Just curious. I am currently working on a baby blanket. Not sure about the yarn it snags real easy. Really enjoy your videos. Not sure how you do it. I remember working and going to school at the same time. I did that twice in my adult life. How is that furls stainless hook working. They just had a birthday celebration launched an onyx color in that stainless streamline. I have a few of the resin ones and have not worked with them to much. Thanks for all your videos.

Love the video! I love my insta pot! May I suggest getting some cheese cloth for when you are washing your butter. I find it easier to squeeze the butter as you wash it. I also love to add some herbs .. dill which is my fav or even some garlic powder.

I always grow in sphagnum moss….but use clear pots….I just soak moss…squeeze out excess water and put a clear dome cup over top of pot…nothing to tight but big enough to hold I'm humidity…then place pot in my ikea cabinet with grow light…then keep watch on humidity in clear dome…give it a little spray if I see humidity getting low…ā¤…makes for strong roots verses water propagationā¤…have never tried culture plants before…just share cuttings with great plants friends..ā¤šŸ˜Š

I grew up on a farm and we made our own butter. It was the kids jobā€¦and mom would have us kids make it in a repurposed mayo jar. She would wear out all our excess energy by shaking that jar until we had butter. That was many years ago. My sister now has the farm and we got to reminiscing when I was home in the US a few weeks ago (I now live in Scotland) and we got to laughing about how sneaky mom was with us making butter. So when my Niece visited with her kids, I had them make their own butter and we used it to bake cookies with and they were in awe that it was so magical.
Please, please, would you do the Earth and your health a favour? šŸ™ Plastic wrap is absolutely awful for the environment though, please consider using grease proof paper or parchment paperā€¦just scrunch it up and run it under water for a second and squeeze. It is now easily rollable to still make your butter logs. Use a little butchers string to tie the ends off or even then wrap in foil if you use foil. Try not to whine too often about single use plastics, such as plastic wrap, but as you obviously want to look after your health and you want to do things from scratch with quality products, I just had to mention it.
Donā€™t forget butter freezes well, so if you find a great deal on cream, stock up on it for your butter šŸ˜‰ and donā€™t forget to make ā€œcompound buttersā€ā€¦butters that you put your home grown herbs in. I make a rosemary one for putting over my roasted veggies about 10-15 mins before they are done, just chop the rosemary very finely before mixing into the butter, but I do an oregano and soft thyme compound butter to put over anything and everythingā€¦and a mint one to put on peas. A garlic one with chopped garlic and finely chopped parsley is great for making your garlic bread, to brush inside the cap of mushrooms before you stuff them, added to mash, and the list goes on. I donā€™t eat beef but hubby does and they are great for adding a little extra flavour as the steak rests. I have a few inexpensive silicone mini ice cube trays thatI use for freezing the compound butter into small pieces, they come out so easy with the silicone and then I store them in tubs with each compound butter written on the outside and itā€™s date. I love using basil butter in the summer when tomatoes are at their best, toast an English muffin, spread the basil butter onto it and then add a thick slice of tomato and a bit of salt and pepperā€¦mmm, my idea of heaven.
Thank you for sharing your time with us! Stay cool and hydrated, I understand much of the US is gripped in a major heatwave. It was high 80ā€™s and low 90ā€™s when I was home a couple weeks ago in Vermont and boy was that too hot for me, I am used to Scottish summers now, mid 70ā€™s and occasionally 80ā€™s but not often. So I try to visit family in early to mid spring to avoid the snow for hubby and to avoid the heat for me lol. Be well.love and blessings from the Highlands of Scotland. šŸ’–
