    They have similar shaved ice in California, most run by Asians. The portion is bigger in California (so it’s often shared between 2-3 people), but the toppings are pretty much the same. I love going to these shaved ice stores with my friends and family.

    you should try different types of shaved ice, it's different in Asia than in the West

    bingsu in South Korea
    halohalo and mais con yelo in the Philippines
    ice kachang and chendol in Singapore or Malaysia

    there’s actually one here in LA (sgv, alhambra) i haven’t gone in awhile but it’s pretty good! tbh LA is one of those places where you kinda find almost all kinds of food anywhere throughout the city. (tho ofc traveling and trying other food from their original places is best!)

    Look delicious indeed. In Malaysia, this is one of our famous street food. It's called ABC (Air Batu Campur = mix ice i mean grated ice ❄ with syrup, fruits, red bean)
