My grandmother made this all the time, she said the secret is the butcher slicing the meat, thin but not too thinβ¦..sometimes she made the filling with ricotta, romano and mozzarella mixed together with the spices, egg, and prosciutto ( diced )β¦..cooked in the sauceβ¦..so goodβ¦..
I made this yesterday and it was wonderful! I have a lot of sauce left over and am now making your meatballs today and putting them in the remainder of the sauce..a quick supper for tonight!!
I love how neat she is. The food looks amazing and the kitchen stays so neat. Some videos have people flinging stuff everywhere and the counters are so piled up itβs hard to keep up.
Ms Gina , I adore your tutorials π β€ God created you so beautiful inside and out. Amen β€οΈ π God bless you and your family well π amen Make Your Happiness π β€
How could you not love Nona? She shines like a diamond in a field of rhinestones. The best part is her father-in-law enjoying his wine with the braciole.
I just want to thank you Nona for sharing this video, I followed it exactly as you mentioned and my husband decided to propose after this meal. I'm an Italian American but never had braciole before. I make for his birthday every year now. β€
Looks Delicious, can you imagine living there and the aroma just floating throughout the house!!π₯° Just watching is making my mouth water! Thank you for sharing these recipes!β€
One of my earliest memories was my grandfather (he was Maltese) making braciole. I guess this was 52-53 years ago. It was a big deal to make this, must have been a special occasion. If I remember correctly, he added olives and eggs – but I was pretty young, I could be wrong. Thank you for showing me how to make this, I'm definitely going to try it. It's been a LONG time since I've had this.
