I love olive oil but don't like olives – what kind of weirdo am I?
This focaccia looks just fantastic and I will definitely try it – maybe with some bacon instead of olives? Let's see, I think you can do anything with this dough. Thanks again Chef for the wonderful video and your wonderfully uncomplicated way. Love from Nuremberg

Been trying to better my foccia bread for months now. It comes out too tight in crumb structure. Definitely going to try this one 😋

Love the editor comments in the video! Makes already awesome video content even more entertaining 😆

This is so good, Jean does it again, I solved the no butter problem, when it comes out of the oven, I brushed butter on top instead of the olive oil, better with butter.

What a beautiful focaccia bread. I used to make the flat one. But you are right, chef, this round one is more dramatic and beautiful. Thank you for sharing this recipe. ❤

I brought this to an Elks potluck dinner tonight, and 3-4 ladies came up to me afterwards to ask for the recipe. I directed them to your channel. You, Chef, are apparently a big hit with the Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks.

Thanks for all your amazing videos and recipes!!
I would like to know what kind of oven do you recommend? Electric or gas based? Conventional or convection heating technology?
    Thanks.

This is taking bread making to a whole new experience. Absolutely love the process! Delicious!!!!!!! This is beyond cooking
i tell you one of the many reasons we love it is the bonding we have, I keep saying hometeam even when I am nowhere near or in the same country but love and joy crosses all boundaries. The happiness, the joys and the true character of Jean-Pierre and the team is marvelous. Nothing unnecessary or acted out, just pure fun and experience with the real feelings and genuineness that we all appreciate.
    God bless,
sometimes I don't know what I say but you get me, hometeam!
Did I forget anything? Never mind, you'd understand…..we don't measure the love and joy of being………alright…!

Ok chef, I made this a few hours ago and just cut into it…..I had to sit down! Sweet fancy Moses is this good!!!! I did make a slight change. My wife is not a fan of onyo, so I used dry wild mushrooms. I reconstituted them, sauteed in a little clarified butter (with a hint of onyo, she never noticed) garlic and thyme. So delicious!!! I'm gonna experiment with different stuffings. Excellent recipe, and pretty simple really!!! Thank you so much!!!!!

@Chef Jean-Pierre I heat up a cup of water in the microwave and set my dough in there covered. Is very moist warm moist environment good to rise the focaccia dough?

Amazingly good! I made this last night and my wife can’t stop raving about it. We loved it! Thanks so much, Chef! Actually my first time using my stand mixer to make delicious bread. First time using it I made butter from heavy cream. Thanks to you! Also delicious!
