I make this style for fun sometimes. Don’t fold the omelette in the pan. Take the pan handle in an underhand grip, slide the bottom half of the omelette onto your plate, and invert the pan over the plate gently. The omelette will resist the fold, so do it gently, and hold it in place until the omelette rests.

Try finishing this like a frittata. When the underside is set, sprinkle the top with cheese, and put it in the oven (at 400 F) till browned, about five minutes.. (If the handle of your pan isn't heat-proof, wrap it in foil to prevent damaging it.)

Get an omelette pan…it folds in half. You put half the eggs in each side, put your cheese, bacon on top then close the pan. I’ve been making my mine this way for as long as I can remember.

Probably do some research on what is a french omelette before calling this a french omelette.

French omelette should not have any browning and is basically cooked in butter. This is far from what a french omelette is

The French would never brown an omelet, your heart was too high… Stir until omelet is mostly cooked, then let rest a minute before flipping. Tilt pan to let gravity help with the flip.
