I've never understood the food processor appeal in a home kitchen. Cutting a few veggies by knife is far quicker than the time you spend digging out a processor setting it up using it then tearing it down and cleaning it.

    I dont get it

I have a vitamax but want a food processor what do you recommend…
A stick blender is awesome for small batches of whipped cream, too. I love mine.
Name the "must have" multi-taskers for the single person.

What about the Ninja blenders where they have seperate bowls for food processor and blender but use the same motor for both bowls? Seems like that's literally the easiest solution to that issue.

Ok… but I have a lower-middle tier blender… that came with a food processor that can be put on the same motor base. I've only ever used the blender part, which has always worked really well… but now I'm more curious about how well the food processor part works.

I've got a relatively inexpensive blender. It works pretty well. Got a kitchenaid food processor and love it, just not cleaning it. And a kitchenaid stick blender. Couldn't afford the cuisinart food processor even refurbished. I would love a vitamix but it's so expensive!

can you have less "hipster music" over the voice of the person talking
its really distracting and does not add clarity to the video, it just feels like your trying to target a dumber target demographic (millennial's)

While I appreciate the information, I can't afford ANY of your recommendations – and the only one of the three appliances mentioned that I already own is a relatively inexpensive immersion blender. Budgets suck.

I loved this video for one reason. I use vintage appliances from the 1940's- 1960's exclusively in my kitchen on a daily basis. Sure, I do have an immersion blender that I love, and a blender for drinks. But I don't have a food processor. My vintage Sunbeam Mixmaster from 1949 has all kinds of attachments, ice crusher disc, shedder disc, grating disc.slicer disc on one attachment that hooks up to the mixer. Then there is the food chopper/ meat grinder. I have the butter churn, knife sharpener, potato peeler. I use them all.

That is kinda funny that you said we put a man on the moon. Yes 30+ years ago there were people on the moon. Bad thing is the only thing we can get to the moon now is rovers. So saying we put a man on the moon is a bit of a misnomer.

What about those new appliances that share a base with a powerful motor but have interchangeable vases, including one for a food processor and one for a blender? Are those any good or is the same issue like with toaster ovens and dedicated toasters?
