As an Italian, growing up with my grandfather making wine with real grapes….this isn't real wine and it's not healthy, this in Italy actually would be considered illegal…what you're basically making is hooch, prison wine 😏

I used to make homemade wines, it's not difficult at all. I'm going to try this method with apple juice, and also with white grape juice. I may try other juices, as well, pear wine would be awesome! Just use your imagination! 🙂👍

Not a pro, but there's a few things you can do. Firstly, once you've seen the bubbles cease, you want to bring that stuff up briefly to a boil, letting it boil 30 seconds. If you want a mulled wine, this is when you add your spices. Skim off anything that rises to the top. Then you pour the wine through two layers of cheesecloth. There's a few reasons to do this, primarily safety when you homebrew but it'll make a clearer, safer wine.
