What I would like to know is how do you determine how much of a slurry to make for gravy? Because each recipe seems to call for a different amount be it 1, 2, 3 Tbsps or ss much as a quarter cup of cornstarch and the same amount of water. The problem is how is the right amount determined? What is the rule of thumb? Thanks.

Can’t wait to try this! Thank you! I had so many questions so I’ve been procrastinating on using my crisp lid, like do I sauté first, do I leave the liquid in the bottom when crisping, etc., so this is great!
I’d love to see more videos using the crisp lid (since I just got the 8qt duo crisp 🙂)

I’ve been doing rotisserie chicken in my instant pot and then transferring to the air fryer for ages now but I have a CrispLid and I can’t wait to do this with it. Did u know that there CrispLid goes to 500 degrees and the IP air fryer lid only goes to 400??

I was doing some research on Instant Pot Air Fryer Lid and also came across the Mealthy CrispLid. Even though it's more expensive I'm leaning towards the CrispLid. It goes up to 500 deg. F (will only run for 10 mins on 450 or 500 though), it has a clear glass section around the outside of the lid so you can see in the pot, and it doesn't have the plastic webbing around the plug that will block off the other outlet. The instant pot fryer lid looks fancier but apparently also weighs about twice as much. I'm going to keep checking more reviews but the Mealthy CrispLid seems like the better choice IMO. Your chicken looked FANTASTIC though. I can't wait to try one in my Max. You have at least 10 recipes that I'll be trying in the coming weeks. Hopefully they all turn out at least close to what yours look like! ;oP

I always wanted to try and do a whole chicken, but the rotisserie chickens at the supermarket are like half the price of a raw one, so we usually just buy one already cooked and then just make sides for them.

It does not work with the duo evo plus instant pot and many others. I was about to order one and checked on the instant pot website to see what models it DOES NOT Work with.
